Nationally, only 55% of African American students graduate from high school on time. Of those who do graduate from high school, less than half enter a 4 year college. Currently, only 21% of African American’s 25 years are older have at least a bachelor’s degree.

The Greater Kansas City Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, is pleased to announce the offering of scholarships for African American high school seniors in the metropolitan area. 

For over the past 20 years, the Greater Kansas City Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has rewarded over $400,000 in scholarships to desiring high school and college students from the Kansas City area.  We have provided students scholarships to go to college and scholarships that help young people stay in college.  Our chapter is dedicated to assisting students in their quest of higher education.  Each scholarship award is $1000 and is renewable annually.
