Celebrating women in science, technology, engineering, math and medicine, Central Exchange’s STEMMy Awards acknowledge women blazing paths and breaking barriers in their STEMM fields. Shelley Cooper of the Greater Kansas City (MO) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated is the 2021 Enterprising Innovator for her work in her company Diversity Telehealth, which provides access to healthcare appointments and services to people who might otherwise not be able to leave their homes. Cooper’s work is especially vital in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and three words her peers and admirers use to describe her are fearless, charitable and selfless.
